Mark Keam Receives Endorsement of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia

 

Vienna, VA – Today, NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia endorsed Mark Keam for Delegate from the 35th District, citing his strong and principled commitment to and track record of working to protect a woman’s right to choose.

 

NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia is the Virginia affiliate of NARAL Pro-Choice America, a national organization that works to protect safe and legal abortion, and to expand the full range of reproductive rights for women regardless of age, race or income.

 

“Mark Keam is a pro-choice leader who will support measures to prevent unintended pregnancies and reduce the need for abortion – values that residents of the 35th District look for in their legislators,” said Tarina Keene, NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia’s Executive Director.  “NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia is thrilled to endorse Keam and looks forward to working closely with him in the years to come.”

 

“I am proud to have earned NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia’s endorsement, and I will stand with women all across the 35th District to be their voice in Richmond,” said Keam.

 

Keam who previously served as Chief Counsel to U.S. Senate Majority Assistant Leader Richard J. Durbin (D-Illinois) on the Senate Judiciary Committee, also added, “For years, I worked at the federal level with elected officials from both sides of the aisle to protect a woman’s right to choose.  As a Delegate, I will continue my steadfast advocacy on behalf of women on a range of issues, including this very important right.”
